On Thursday, April 13th, Juniors, Shravani Vedagiri, Advika Vuppala, and Sophomore Ishani Singh, were awarded National Honorable Mentions for the NCWIT (National Center for Women & Information Technology) Award for Aspirations in Computing at Kean University. They were recognized for their leadership, aptitude, and aspirations in technology and computing. These girls represent the top 10% of the 4,000 applicants who had applied for this award and received recognition at the Regional Affiliate Award event, an engraved award, entry to a peer-network of women in the NCWIT AiC Community, and various prizes. Congratulations to Shravani, Advika, and Ishani for their outstanding work!
