HTHS Students Attend American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS) Conference
Eleven HTHS students traveled to Denver, Colorado to represent New Jersey as delegates to the American Junior Academy of Science (AJAS). These students competed at the New Jersey Junior Academy of Science Annual Meeting in May of 2023 and won a position in one of 12 categories to represent our state at the AJAS 2024 Annual Meeting. As delegates to the American Academy, our students attended the American Association of the Advancement of Science (AAAS) Annual Meeting and presented their original research to scientists from all over the globe. The AAAS meeting is the largest meeting of scientists in the world and it was a chance for our students to share their work and network with other students as well as scientists in their field of study. In addition to attending the AAAS meeting all 11 students have been named lifetime fellows to AJAS. Congratulations to all our students for this prestigious honor!
