On Saturday, January 22, 2022, the High Tech Academic Team sent 2 teams 150 miles away to GORGII, a regional Quiz Bowl tournament held at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, Connecticut. Twenty of the best teams from Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey attended.

After going 10-0 throughout the day, the High Tech A Team beat Hunter College High School in the finals, winning the competition undefeated.

The High Tech A Team was led by captain Max Brodsky (senior) with teammates Sidharth Srivastava (senior), Kevin Liu (junior), and Ranvith Adulla (sophomore). The High Tech B Team consisted of Shashwat Tewari (senior) and Claire Liu (freshman).

Additionally, Max Brodsky received a prize for being the individual with the third most points scored of all 78 participants.
