On February 5, the HTHS VEX teams traveled to South Brunswick High School for their second competition of the season. All three teams qualified for the quarterfinals where HTHS team 765A and their alliance partner 4610J defeated the top-seeded alliance from Robot Revolution and Sparta High School in one of the most exciting matches of the day. In the first semifinal match, HTHS team 765X and their alliance partner 750C defeated 765A and 4610J qualifying them for the finals where they eventually earned the title of Tournament Champions. In addition to Tournament Champions, 765X earned the Excellence Award for best overall performance, notebook and team interview and had the highest score in the Robot Skills Challenge, earning them the Robot Skills champion award to close out an outstanding day.
